Configuration around actual operating conditions
A double-girder overhead crane carries the trolley on two main girders and can support high capacity, long span, service platforms, special hoisting machinery or improved upper hook approach.
Bridge and trolley self-weight, wheel-load distribution, runway beams, columns, building stability, duty class, speeds, acceleration, braking and load sway must be assessed together. Components must match the actual duty.
Platforms, access, cabin or radio control, collision avoidance, positioning and load monitoring are selected through risk and process assessment.
Final capacity, structural loads, duty class, speeds, braking, limits, power supply and site interfaces are confirmed through approved engineering.
