Configuration around actual operating conditions
A semi-gantry crane uses a building runway on one side and a floor-rail leg on the other. Different load paths make rail elevation, parallelism, deflection, wheel loads, lateral forces and foundation capacity critical.
For outdoor use, wind, rain, corrosion, parking, anchoring and power supply are also assessed. Final design requires verified site, foundation and structural data.
Final capacity, structural loads, duty class, speeds, braking, limits, power supply and site interfaces are confirmed through approved engineering.
